211/CIE San Diego serves the county's 3.2 million residents. In 2024 they answered 458,000+ calls, 212,000+ texts and served 219,000+ total clients, including referrals from their well-curated database of over 6,000 services.

They are widely regarded as industry innovators, notably with the Community Information Exchange (CIE) they built in partnership with other major service providers in the region. Their CIE is the model for others forming across North America, evidenced by the well-attended CIE conference they host every year, among many other activities in support of their peers in other communities.

Fully adopted the Yanzio AI Assistants into their daily workflow

Starting over four months ago, their resource database team uses the Yanzio AI Assistants in their daily work of updating and improving service records.

API integration with their resource database platform

In parallel we've jointly built an Application Programming Interface (API) integration between their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce.com, and the Yanzio AI Assistants. As soon as a service record is updated, it is "pushed" to Yanzio and the AI Assistants immediately run evaluations. Within seconds, resource editors get feedback on the quality and structure of those records, according to their own internal Style Guide, taxonomy best practices, and the Inform USA standards.
